I’m sorry that the health care industry (there’s a telling expression) is so damned expensive in Murka.  And I’m sorry that the poor can’t afford health insurance.  But, all esoteric arguments aside, that’s not my problem.  Every person is responsible for their own health.  Don’t put a gun to my head and demand that I pay for your medical bills. I’m not asking anyone to pay for mine.

The line of reasoning that it saves tax payers money because it reduces emergency room visits is bullshit.  Who pays for the emergency room visits?  The tax payers.  Who pays for the Obamacare insurance subsidies?  The tax payers.  It doesn’t matter if you’re being robbed out of the left pocket or the right pocket. You’re still being robbed.
