Some people have accused me in the past of being arrogant. I didn’t disagree with them because I didn’t know what “arrogance” meant. I thought I knew, but after looking it up I’m not too sure. I thought it meant excessively proud or self-confident, but according to the dictionary it means “having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one’s own importance or abilities”. In which case I’m not arrogant. To accuse me of having any sense of self-importance or abilities is to not know me at all.

If anything, I’m just the opposite. I consider myself to be sub-par on all accounts, and the conclusions I have come to to be self-evident to anyone with at least average intelligence (i.e. an intelligence higher than mine).

If I’m to be accused of anything, it should be that I have a low tolerance for idiots and imbeciles.
