Well.  Fuck.  I spent so much time editing that audio clip that I forgot what I came here to say.

Maybe it had something to do with this being the place that I’m going to post my life updates.  Not Facebook.  Not Twitter.  Not Tumblr or any other social media site.

If I’m going to use the internet to express my beliefs and keep in touch with family and friends then why not here?  Maybe it’s not as elegant as those other sites but at least I’m in control of the content.  Surely there’s a plug-in I can add that will provide the same sorts of capabilities as  those other sites.  Right?
