I’m so sick of that mewling plea to think of the children.  Want to pass some insane legislation that no right-thinking person would approve of?  Tell ’em it’s for the children.  What a stupid emotional appeal.

Fuck the children.  If it was so hard to create a child there wouldn’t be over 7 billion people in this world.  They’re not innocent little cherubs.  They are psychopaths in training.   Their only claim to innocence is a lack of understanding of how the world works.  But I think most people can make that same claim.  Also, until children reach the age of self-sufficiency they are financial black-holes.  They don’t add anything to society; they don’t pay any taxes, they don’t produce anything.  All they do is consume resources.

Everyone mourns the death of an infant, but no one blinks an eye at the death of an adult.  It should be the other way around.  The amount of resources consumed to produce an adult is far greater than the resources consumed to produce an infant. And the ability of an adult to affect the world around him far exceeds the abilities of a baby.
