So I’m at my beekeeping class.  Got my travel mug filled with fruit juice and a mason jar filled with the same in the truck so I can top the mug off.  One of my classmates asks me if that’s my “Uncle Si’s Iced Tea”. I laugh and say yes, but had to google it when I got home.  Still can’t disagree with the assessment. :(

WTF though?  Why would you ask someone that?  Is it some pop culture thing, referencing Duck Dynasty anytime someone’s holding a bottomless cup?  Or does it have to do with stereotyping?

My beard is far from Dwarven Magnificence, but ever since I’ve had it people have made references to the characters in Duck Dynasty.  That annoys the shit out of me.

My beard, my appearance, my lifestyle, is my own.  Maybe I’m picking up on some sort of zeitgeist, but I’d never heard of Duck Dynasty before people started to make references to it about me.
