The other day the guineas got out of their pen. There were 6 that night. The next morning there were 3.
I thought it was because the door between the run and the yard was closed. Maybe that’s why they couldn’t find their way back into the coop? So I started to leave it open. Last night I got home and the 3 guineas were on the coop roof running around in circles.
They eventually jumped off the roof and I took the opportunity to heard them into the chicken coop. I’ve been concerned all day that I would come home and find one or more dead.
I just checked on them and they’re all there. Even better, they’re intermingled with the chickens on the roosts. They’re fitting in.
