Of all the Abrahamic religions, Islam is the worst.

Judaism is a quaint tribal religion. Sure, there was a lot of carnage in the Old Testament but it’s been thousands of years since the Jews last went on a murderous rampage.

Christianity has had a long history of bloodshed too, don’t get me wrong.  But at least in Christianity’s case the bloodshed is due to hypocrisy of the greatest magnitude.  Their prophet preached a message of peace, tolerance and brotherly love.

Islam’s prophet preached a message of violence.  Kill the infidel. Subjugate everyone who won’t convert.  No wonder there are over a billion followers of this superstition.

I don’t find the excuse that Islam is just going through the same growing pains that Christianity went through in the 16th century to be acceptable.  Christianity’s growing pains lead to the Enlightenment and the Age of Reason.

Islam didn’t pick up on that.  It ignores the fruits of the Age of Reason and instead chooses instead to remain in the 7th Century.
