Holy shit. I’m a republican. Note the lower-case “r”. That’s where my dislike for the Federal Government comes from. Everything I dislike about the Government is a result of the metastasis of the transformation to a democracy through the agency of the Progressive Left.

But when you get to the subatomic level, I’m an anarchist. But not the black-clad, antifa suburban revolutionary “anarchist”. Those people are useful idiots at best. I hold that Government is a fiction, a myth, a superstition. It does not exist in the real world and we should endeavor to rid ourselves of the superstition that Government is real. Maybe, some day in the future, we can evolve to the point that we can shake off the need for Government. But until then Government is a necessary evil.

Government is a convenient concept for protecting humans from predatory persons. It would be unnecessary if all men were humans, but they’re not. So we need a common defense against those who would take our life, liberty or property by force.
