Here’s an example of an article that salts truth with falsehood.  It may be the other way around.

I agree that the rushed proceedings against Trump are a politicized act of theatre.

The Articles of Impeachment are serious charges.  Impeachment is a serious undertaking so of course the charges must be serious.  But when impeachment becomes political theatre, the severity of the charges is diminished.  That the charges are serious doesn’t mean they’re legitimate.

Sedition is the attempt to destroy or overthrow or levy war against the government.  It’s a given that there were people in the crowd who were intent on sedition and burning it all down, and when found they should be prosecuted to the full extension of the law.  But many people who “stormed” the capitol were angry citizens who were swept up in the moment.  Those citizens had no intent to destroy or overthrow the government.  They wanted to right a grievous wrong in a stolen election.

The author makes some good points, such as an act of sedition being one of the most serious charges with which an American can be charged, but he never questions the underlying premise that Trump was inciting the people.  He assumes the accusations are grounded on fact.
