Russia, Russia, Russia

Putin is always measured and considerate in his answers. I don’t know what is in his heart or mind. All I can go by is his actions, and his actions aren’t those of the ruthless dictator he’s portrayed as in the western media.

That is not an easy thing for me to admit. I grew up during the Cold War when nuclear drills and hiding under one’s desk were common. The USSR was our mortal enemy because the USSR was communist.

But the USSR is dead and Russia is no longer a communist State. So why the hatred from the US gov? It’s not because Putin’s a dictator. The US gov is allied with plenty of dictators.

Putin’s not pushing a toxic ideology. There are two predominant toxic ideologies in this world — communism and Islamism. Russia is advocating for neither of those, but US gov allies such as Saudi Arabia and China are.

Saudi Arabia and China are the biggest threats to our national security and it would be to our advantage to ally with Russia

We didn’t have any enemies in the Middle East until Israel came along

This isn’t completely true. We had to send the marines in to stop the muslims from taking American sailors as slaves.

America’s support for Israel certainly exacerbated things, but given the choice is it better if Jews or Muslims control Jerusalem?

It’s possible for Jews and Christians to live together harmoniously because Christianity was founded upon the Old Testament. On the other hand, Christianity teaches that all men are brothers but Judaism hold that only the tribe matters (Jews are God’s chosen people). A Christian will treat a Jew as his brother but will a Jew do the same?

Support for Israel is the lesser of two evils. If we don’t support Israel then we have two choices: conquer Jerusalem for Christian Europe or let the Muslims have it.
